Iranian filmmaker Farnoush Samadi to judge at Beirut fest

Iranian filmmaker and screenplay writer Farnoush Samadi has been selected as the head of jury panel at the 2022 edition of the Beirut International Women Film Festival (BWFF) in Lebanon.

According to the official website of the BWFF, “it was founded in 2017, in Lebanon, celebrated the month of March under the theme “Women for Leadership” highlighting the role of women as leaders in their societies”.

Samadi will judge in the short film and animation section.

Samadi’s first feature film ‘180° Rule’, starring Sahar Dolatshahi, Pejman Jamshidi, Azita Hajian, and Hassan Pourshirazi, won the Best Film Award and the Best Cast Award at the previous edition of the BWFF.

The 2022 edition of the Beirut International Women Film Festival will be held on March 6-11.
